My Integrative, Whole-Body Approach to Fertility Care: What I Do and How I Support You

When you decide to grow your family, you deserve care that sees all of you—not just your lab numbers or a single phase of your cycle. Fertility reflects the health of your hormones, metabolism, nervous system, gut, environment, relationships, and daily habits. It’s deeply personal. It requires compassion, clarity, and support.

As an Integrative Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, my role is to provide guided, whole-body, patient-centered fertility support that helps you understand your unique physiology and make changes that improve your chances of conceiving—naturally or in combination with medical care.

My work is not a replacement for medical fertility treatment. Instead, it focuses on what often gets overlooked: the foundational systems that influence egg quality, sperm quality, ovulation, implantation, and early pregnancy health. And when medical fertility care is part of your journey, I collaborate openly, respectfully, and non-judgmentally to help you feel confident and supported.

Here is what working with me looks like.

1. A Deep, Whole-Person Assessment

Every person has a different fertility story. My first step is understanding yours.

I explore:

  • Menstrual cycle patterns

  • Hormone health and symptoms

  • Ovarian reserve markers (AMH, FSH, AFC)

  • Thyroid and metabolic function

  • Gut and microbiome health

  • Nutrient status

  • Sleep, stress, and nervous system balance

  • Environmental exposures

  • Lifestyle habits and routines

  • Male partner health and lifestyle

My goal is to uncover the factors—large or subtle—that may be affecting your fertility and overall wellbeing.

2. Evidence-Based Nutrition, Supplementation, and Lifestyle Strategies

Fertility improves when the body has the nutrients, environment, and support it needs to function optimally.

I create plans that focus on:

  • Anti-inflammatory, nutrient-dense eating

  • Blood sugar and metabolic balance

  • Gut repair and digestive support

  • Improving egg and sperm quality

  • Supporting ovulation and luteal phase strength

  • Reducing chronic inflammation

  • Enhancing mitochondrial energy (critical for egg quality)

  • Sleep and circadian alignment

  • Stress physiology regulation without judgment or pressure

  • Movement and strength-building routines

  • Reducing endocrine disruptors in a realistic, practical way

These changes support both natural conception and medically assisted cycles.

3. Personalized Supplement Protocols

Instead of overwhelming you with dozens of supplements, I create a plan based on:

  • Your lab work

  • Your symptoms

  • Your goals

  • Your medical history

  • Your personal preference and tolerance

Supplements may include support for egg quality, luteal function, thyroid optimization, inflammation, gut health, or nutrient deficiencies.

I prioritize sustainable, phase-appropriate guidance, adjusting over time so your protocol is manageable and effective.

4. Cycle Tracking & Ovulation Intelligence

Understanding your cycle is one of the most powerful tools you can have while trying to conceive. I teach you how to use:

  • Mira

  • Inito

  • Cervical mucus observation

  • Basal body temperature (optional)

You’ll learn:

  • How to confidently identify your fertile window

  • How to confirm ovulation

  • How to time intercourse effectively

  • What your hormone patterns mean

  • How to know if your luteal phase is strong enough

This empowers you with information most people are never taught.

5. Partner Assessment & Optimization

Fertility is a shared journey.

I evaluate and support your partner’s health in areas such as:

  • Lifestyle habits

  • Sleep and stress

  • Exercise and nutrition

  • Environmental toxin exposure

  • Semen parameters (if available)

  • Supplements tailored to sperm health

Optimizing male fertility often improves outcomes significantly—even when female factors are present.

6. Emotional Support and Nervous System Regulation

Trying to conceive can be emotionally overwhelming.
My work is grounded in compassion, neutrality, and realistic expectations.

I help you build:

  • Stress resiliency

  • Mind-body practices

  • Nervous system regulation tools

  • Emotional clarity and grounding during cycles

  • Supportive habits that reduce overwhelm

There is zero judgment—only support and guidance.

7. Collaborative Care When Medical Support Is Part of Your Journey

Some patients work with me alone; others work with me while undergoing fertility treatment.

In these cases, I help you:

  • Prepare your body before treatment

  • Understand labs and recommendations

  • Support egg and sperm quality during treatment

  • Reduce inflammation and oxidative stress

  • Navigate protocols with confidence

  • Optimize implantation factors

  • Feel emotionally supported between visits

I believe in collaboration, not competition.
All fertility clinicians—integrative, medical, or procedural—play valuable roles. My role is to support your physiology, education, and wellbeing alongside whatever path you choose.

8. Ongoing Guidance, Adjustments, and Support

Fertility is dynamic. Your plan evolves as your body responds, labs return, and your goals shift.

I offer:

  • Monthly check-ins (or as needed)

  • Protocol adjustments

  • Messaging for quick questions

  • Clear next steps each cycle

  • Holistic recommendations that grow with you

You always know what you’re working toward and why.

A Compassionate, Informed, Whole-Body Path to Conception

My approach is centered around helping you feel empowered, informed, and supported through every step of your fertility journey. Whether your path is natural, medically assisted, or somewhere in between, you will be met with evidence-based guidance, warmth, and respect for your unique story.
